Advice regarding my lease…

Hey all,

So I just signed a lease for July 1st (paid first and last) and now I’m hearing that I might have to leave Toronto for work (permanent transfer).

Absolute horrible timing but this is a very good move career-wise if it happens. So I believe I can ask the landlord to sublet or reassign the lease? Legally tho, are there any options open to me? Search for my own sublet?

This is new to me and appreciate any feedback, thanks!
