Cervix is closed and high at 38 weeks, can I still go into labor anytime?
Hey mamas, I have a question! I’m 38w2d and at 37w6d I had my first cervical check. Doctor said she felt babies head in place but that my cervix was closed and posterior, and still high. Does this mean I won’t be going into labor anytime soon? I sometimes feel crampy but my husband will now say “ you’re nowhere near labor” since hearing the doctor say I was closed and it’s so frustrating when he comments that lol. I’m here thinking that it doesn’t mean much and I could still go into labor anytime? Am I wrong? Has anyone experienced this and then gone into labor shortly after?
