Boat & Tote

I’m looking to purchase a boat & tote bag to be used as my pool/beach bag and I can’t decide between the large or XL. Also, should I get it with the zipper or without? I’m looking for something good sized bc I have a toddler so I need to bring extra stuff with me to the pool, plus a couple of towels. Thanks for the advice!
