Help?

I move heavy equipment in the oilfield so I’m excited to get quality boots. Tired of my thorogoods feeling high on sides and sinking in middle. I am just about to check out with either Frank’s or Nicks. But I’m afraid to kinda because I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for almost 6 years. I find them most comfortable and my foot has become more muscular and “fat” because of it. I now have an extremely wide foot and anything with an arch in it I find grossly uncomfortable. I tried wearing an ariat boot that had arch support and that whole pressing against the middle of your foot all day is weird to me.

Am I going to hate PNW boots? What about the ThurmanNW last from Nicks or the less exaggerated Highlander (when compared to the commander) from Frank’s.
