Help please! Need to know best blade/saw to cleanly cut stainless steel railing!
Hi everyone, thanks in advance. I am installing cable railing as a DIY’er and I’m stumped. I’ve begun the handrails, and they are Black Pewter Coated 304 Stainless Steel. Hollow Core, approx 2 inches thick. I’ve tried to use a chop saw with a metal cutoff disc, and the metal burred BAD. Then I tried a miter saw with an 8” Diablo steel demon, and that worked amazing for 1 cut. ONE cut! The second piece same exact process came out terrible. I’m back to the drawing board. Most likely will use an angle grinder with a Lenox MetalMax diamond blade, unless someone (please) helps me understand what exactly I need!
