I texted him my closure

Yeah, I made a post here talking about how I wanted to tell him how he hurt me and everything I felt. I did exactly that. I told him how I felt and I told him I was here for him all along and he threw my heart in the trash. I did it for myself. As many warned me, his narrative didn’t change. He only acknowledged part of what I was saying and came up with many different excuses. Very dismissed stance. The reason why I actually did this today, and I told him this in the message, is because I decided to shut the door. I handed him back what was his, and if he won’t hold it I will let him drop it. I needed this because as much as we hadn’t been in contact anymore I hadn’t truly started No Contact. I have still been connected to him, secretly waiting for him, checking his social media and not having this feeling of closure. So today I did this in an attempt to give myself closure. I will no longer respond to any of his responses to my text, and I will officially keep this door closed. Now I will truly focus on moving on and healing.

From now on I will let him stay in his narrative. I’m dropping it. And I will let the power of No Contact act, because I have lived it before. Today I allow God and time to take from my hands the responsibility of cracking open whatever truths are still unclear and salvaging this relationship.

I am sure this will not be easy, and that I might even regret this. But I couldn’t take anymore leaving the power in his hands. It was not allowing me to truly move on. Today I let him know the doors have been closed. I am so sad because there are so many things I still wanted to share with him. I have a poem I wanted to send him. But I feel like if I do this now, it will only open up the doors again.

That’s it. The next battle starts now.
