Tinnitus and menopause/perimenopause?

Hello, I’m new here. I’m 44 and my tinnitus has worsened over the last several years. It bothers me a lot when trying to sleep- high pitched static in both ears. I had my hearing checked recently and it was good, but I am struggling to hear soft spoken people sometimes. Has anyone experiencing fluctuations in estrogen levels related to menopause had an eventual decrease in tinnitus? Is there anything I can do for it?
