I think the stock exhuast is perfect & other appreciations

I have a base 987.2 and I believe the stock exhuast fits the car beautifully. At low revs you can barley hear it. I love driving really slow around nature and hearing the sounds around me. It is so damn peaceful doing that in this car.

When you rev it high 4+, the exhuast gets plenty loud. Thats where the power is. The exhuast suits the character of the car. I like how stealthy the exhuast is; you don't turn heads from the noise even when you are doing some medium zipping around.

I do have another car with an aftermarket exhuast (it is loud but not insane). I do enjoy hitting it in the tunnels more with that car. The sound echos more. It is louder at lower rpm but I feel it fits that torquey car more. I can understand why people want an after market exhuast in these cars for that reason, but I prefer them how they are, well-mannered.

While I'm at it, a few more small things I appreciate about this car:

The minimalist layout in the cabin. I know different trims will all not follow this.

There is nothing you dont need and everything you need. It is understated and everything is simple. It is also well put together and thought out. It reminds me it is a car to drive, so focus on driving it.

It really relaxes my head with all the simplicity compared to modern cars. No screen. Mine has no adjustand bolsters, which makes it simpler. No adjustable suspension, agian- simpler, the car is the way it is, I dont need to even think about changing it. Same with the exhuast.

I understand the want for these things, hell I love my adjustable bolsters and screen in my 2nd car, but in this one, I appreciate it so much without. It is just simpler, and I love that. DRIVERS CAR.
