Switching from Essential Elements to Suzuki?
I'm a new adult beginner. I've been taking lessons for a couple months now and I love it. My teacher started me with Essential Elements book 1. We're nearly to the end of it so I asked what we do next. She mentioned maybe going to Suzuki book 2. Possibly combining it with Essential Elements book 2. She sort of asked me if I was good with that, and I don't know enough to make an educated decision.
Does this seem ok to people who have used both? I wasn't sure if Suzuki was different and there would be things I'm missing not having gone through book 1.
I trust her so if she thinks it should be ok I'm inclined to just give it a shot and see how it goes.
