tearing during sex.

i’ve been dealing with small tears at the bottom of my vaginal opening for several weeks now. they only last 2-3 days after sex but obviously are painful and annoying. i’ve only had sex a few times and all recently but this did not happen the first time, only the times after that. i did have a BV infection about a month ago that was successfully treated with antibiotics. the irritation from that lasted long enough that i had to use steroid cream so im paranoid that made my skin down there thinner, but i only used it for about a week before we realized i had a bartholin’s cyst causing irritation. it is very small and doesn’t get any larger or smaller, just causes occasional irritation in a spot above where the tearing appears to be so im not sure that is related either.

i feel that we are well-lubricated during intercourse, it never hurts during, i only notice it after. does anyone have any tips? also happens, albeit not as bad, when i use a toy down there.
