Summary: Before the world wakes her, he watches her sleep, speaking softly into the stillness, sharing all the things he sees that no one else does. From the way she squeezes her eyes shut to stay asleep, to the way she tears up over tiny animals, to the love she gives so fiercely despite everything she’s been through, he notices it all.

This story is my attempt to capture a man in quiet awe of the woman beside him, in the rare, unguarded moment that belongs to him alone.
