Question about vinyl safe paint.

2 part question

I want I paint my house in Illusive green. It’s vinyl siding. The lady at sherwin Williams told me that they can make the paint vinyl safe. I’ve read mixed things on the internet about this. Some say it’s okay if they make it vinyl safe formula and some say that it’s still not smart. If they make it vinyl safe, will I in fact be okay??

If it’s not smart, is there a close alternative in the SW vinyl safe collection? Tattoo & reptile looked close but I don’t know if they’ll get that gray/blue/green effect where it changes with the lighting.
