Can I take l-lysine with Elvanse/Vyvanse?

Got a really bad cold sore flare-up and wanted to take L-lysine with is as it can help. Was reading to see if I can take 500mg or 1000mg or l-lysine with my meds (40mg elvanse, same as vyvanse), however nothing much online that I can find. I then came across that lisdexamfetamine turns into l-lysine and dextroamfetamine in the body. Anyways I'm just wondering what the effects of supplementing with l-lysine would be if anyone knows?
