How do you handle the expectations?
I am 38 female 6 foot 180 pounds. I am married and have a 4.5 year old.
My doctor told us it is psychosemantic and my husband believes him.
Every week my husband goes into me for not keeping on top of the laundry dishes house are on top of making family supper every day and playing with our son and doing the bedtime routine.
Every week I spend one afternoon crying and hating myself more and more for being a failure as a mom.
My husband is always upset that when I do the dishes I never finish all the dishes. But after 60 minutes I am white knuckling it, trembling, while tears stream down my face from the pain.
When I do keep on top of the house chores the rest of my time is spent on bed white knuckling it through pain recovering.
How do you deal with the expectations of motherhood with this illness when your husband and doctor don't support you.
My husband complained that I spend all my time in bed.
On top of believing I have CFS from waiting 4.5 years to see a psychiatrist for post partum psychosis.
I am diagnosed ADHD, Ehlers Danlose, pots, dyslexic, and I believe I am autistic as well. But I missed getting diagnosed because it wasn't commonly found or looked for in women when I was young.
How do you stop hating yourself for your body failing you, and constantly feeling like a failure as a parent?
How do you get through the hours white knuckling the pain?
Often my body cramps up so bad white knuckling the pain in bed that I have if not as much pain from the cramps from holding my body so tense for so long trying to get through it.
