No damage bleached once salon wants me to wait to bleach again

Like the title says. This hair salon told me my bleach 10 weeks ago is way too soon and I have to wait until 6 months before I can bleach anymore. It was highlights I have virgin dark brown hair. Is that true? It’s the second salon to tell me that and I hate my color right now.
