hair growing back a week after waxing

i’ve been doing waxing at home on armpits and brazilian area for like 4 months? but the hairs start to grow back after like a week!! it feels not worth it to have 1 week smooth 3 weeks itchy and hairy grow out phase. i have very pale skin and dark hair so when i shave you see the black hair follicle still and that bothers me a lot which it why i switched to waxing.

should i just hope that after doing it for longer it will take longer to grow? or what are my options that wont cost an arm and a leg :( i’ve thought about electrolysis but for some reason the place i called was more wanting me to do laser which im not so sure about.

need advice!!
