“Little Soldiers” by hxllo nana https://youtu.be/lO6K_fLg38k?si=Z4KWGKaoB7zB4mud
I love me some parallels between Pearl and Scar, and between Desert Duo and Galaxy duo. ~~the ending might traumatize you so be warned~~

“Cross My Heart I Hope U Die” by Mizzlebloom https://youtu.be/I5s0ZUBOfygf?si=3e4YeA3BSImlK18n
Unironically this is up there with W.I.T.C.H. And Running up that Hill as one of the best double life animatics. The animation is very smooth in some scenes and the song choice fits Pearl so well.

“Who’s in Control” by ranger_potato https://youtu.be/hMCcX9s1ZTw?si=mQuczQU6-CvdzkuC
By view count, this is the most well known animatic I have listed, but this is such a good winners animatic. The character design is phenomenal, the chorus with the winners is very fun, and we got some Cleo rep.

“Atomized” by samberk https://youtu.be/L2eh4GMkUNU?si=fAX-NZurwEHku-TQ
This Grian and Mumbo Wildlife animatic has some of the most fluid animation I have seen, and also some great character design. Samberk might be the most underrated artist listed here ~~also they made a banger last life animation that somehow has less than 1k views so check it out even thought it didn’t release this year.~~

“When I Die” by galaxystt https://youtu.be/bdeXj44Io7c?si=VN8Fc62ke_YLqxOZ
Not much to say besides the fact that this is a very cool Jimmy animatic with a wonderful depiction of breaking the Canary Curse

This post is definitely not an animatic recommendation list idk what you are talking about.

With a new series on the horizon and half way through the year, what are some of your favorite life series animations of 2025 and why?
