Need some R6 help!

I’m not a good player at all, but I don’t play much. My son though, plays a lot, and he’s gotten pretty good. He can’t seem to get himself teamed with decent players and is stuck floating at the top of bronze. He gets super frustrated, so I wanted to find out what the best way for him to find some decent players to play with, preferably around his age. Is there websites, or something? I know I sound like an idiot here, but I’m ok with that lol. Just fishing for some tools to help my kid.
