Am I Overreacting for being mad about being on call on a holiday that is also my birthday?

Background, I work for a small company. We rotate being on call on the weekends in the summer. This weekend is my weekend but I was not aware as the schedule wasn't set on our calendar. We are closed for the holiday, but it is also my birthday, a big year. I work with two of my friends and they know my wife has a huge party planned and I have a full day of commitments. I found out today that it was decided we are running emergency calls for our long time client's on the holiday. Because it is my weekend I am required to have my work phone and be available to run calls. The calendar is blocked off for the holiday and everyone else is off. My friends tried to back me up with the owner and he basically said tough. I wasnt included in the conversation and only given 24 hours notice.
I am prepared to say that I am unavailable and aware there may be consequences. I feel singled out and am very angry. Am I overreacting?
