Disable corpses?

How is there 0 option to remove corpses and blood, they lag my laptop so damn hard that if i take too long corpses pile up during boss stages and im unable to beat them. Maybe there is some obscure option taht i am not aware off but holy shit there are games decades ago with this feature.
