39 (F4R) The elusive…

“Friend”… I don’t think people know what that word means these days. Is it about common interests? I’m not sure. I think it’s mostly about connection, yes. But also, integrity, follow through and the commitment to want to be in someone else’s life. Which, contradictory, is easy to not do with online interactions.

I have blocked and ghosted people myself. Mostly when people insert photos that were not requested, or after someone doesn’t respect my boundaries after I set them.

But let’s be honest, we are all weird here and awkward in at least 5 ways. Personally, I’m awkward in more ways than 5. I spend more time with dogs than people, I don’t understand sports, politics are dreadful, I love wearing overalls, and country music tastes like vinegar to me.

I have a stack of 7 books next to my bed that I’ll likely plow through in the next couple of weeks. The tomato plants that I started from seed in January are getting ready to sprout fruit and it is incredibly exciting! (Cucumbers are getting so close as well).

I like meeting souls, not bodies. Please don’t send your photos, and don’t ask for mine.

I love soul depth, in people and conversations.

Serious questions though. Do you play Final Fantasy 14? That would be awesome! Do you enjoy K-dramas? Or binging Fantasy series? Do you overthink? I’ve always wondered when they are going to discover a way to measure the levels of overthinking in different people.
