Hello fellow editors, first of all I love and appreciate every single one of yall that helps me get through this ridiculous issue. Im editing a documentary right now that is multicam, the director wants multicam sequences of synced interviews etc. He wants Cam A and B on V1 and V2 as normal, as well Cam A and B audio on track A1 and A2. Lav tracks on A3 and A4. Cam A and B audio are stereo, Lav Mic A and B are mono. Now when I create this adaptive multicam sequence, Cam A and B audio are on tracks 3 and 4 when I correctly choose them in order. As well I can't hear any audio from tracks 3 and 4 as well. Even when I reroute there outputs I get nothing. Furthermore when I drag the sequence into a timeline, there's only one audio track with no waveforms and no audio sometimes . When I changed the audio channels to mono, I see 4 tracks on the timeline and multicam sequence timeline. Yet the director wants them to be mono and stereo. My question being, how can I make this stupid multicam sequence with Cam A and B audio tracks being A1 and A2, Lav mics be A3 and A4. As well when I drag it out onto the sequence I get 4 tracks with audio waveforms. If I need to make a proper test sequence please tell me the settings, Im going to implode (ive been at it for a week) Thank you!
