Has anybody lied about the name of a fragrance when someone asked what cologne you're wearing?

I just got back from running up to the store for some beer, and while in line a guy behind me tapped on my shoulder. "You're wearing aventus aren't you?" The guy asked. I nodded and said "yep!"

I was in fact not wearing aventus lol I can't afford that expensive stuff. I was wearing dumont celerio Oros, with one spray of club de unit intense man with it to give some extra smoke lol Once in a blue moon does anyone even say anything about a fragrance I'm wearing, let alone actually (almost) recognize it lol. It made me curious if anyone else has lied and said they were wearing the O.G. or something lol.
