B300K charging w/ APEX 300

Hey guys.

I'm considering picking up an APEX 300 along side a B300K. I would love to know If the B300K can be independently charged separately from the APEX.

My hope is I can use the B300K's power, and rely on the APEX while I take the B300K to someone with a generator/power to recharge it.

I have read conflicting info on whether these can be charged independently, so any direct answers would be great.
