Can I park at Lake Crescent early AM and do all the key things from there? Or do i need to move and park at various places?

Planning a trip mid August and will likely visit Lake Crescent on a Saturday. Would like to see the main sites and hikes (longest i normally hike is 4-6 miles). Can I park in one spot early in the morning? And best time to arrive? I’ll be coming from Port Angeles. Or do I have to drive to various parking lots anyways to see the “main things”? Sorry, couldn’t really find this info searching.
