Is it worth it
I’m in Canada, and I am considering requesting my disability tax credit, I cannot work for two years now, and I need support, something.
So since Dr in my provinces are super rare I went to a private clinic, to filled the paper work the clinic is charging me 95$/pages. The doc has 16 pages and that is just the federal one, the provincial one has 9 pages so it would be 2375$ PLUS 15% taxes obviously just to get the paper work filled, and I’m not even sure that this will give me anything back.
Is there someone from canada that did that ? Like my revenue is under 15K/year that is why I’m not sure if its worth it… I am not able to go on sickness social assistance or anything like that.
My ADHD (autism not dx) isn’t manageable anymore, I’m always overwhelm even with meds, everything is too much sensory speaking. I’m dis regulated and nothing works, plus I have so many physical shutdown ( like my stomach that doesn’t work no-more) and they cannot find nothing. I’m just fucking done, I need help, or something I dunno🥺.
So if you are from canada and did the tax credit disability, could you explain to me what benefit you got? Thanks
