API to APC

I’ve been an API for a while now. Any job I go into I always either promote up or promote out. I’m a number guys. It’s always about producing quality metrics. I’ve been the top performing API in my market since month 1. I have ADHD so I learn, live by, and preach policy.

I’m now to a point where I wish to move up. I’ve had numerous members of management including market recommend I look into front end leadership or really anywhere in the store. Even my APC said I’d be good. But my APC doesn’t seem interested in teaching me ANYTHING about APC stuff. My APC seems clueless themself but what do I know, I’m just an API.

I’ve had several APCs at other store want me to transfer there to develop me but those store are even further from home.

I’m really just at a crossroad right now with my career with Walmart. I want nothing to do with anything other than the Asset Protection side of Walmart. What would you do?
