Adaptive Lighting Integration :: Help with automation yaml for turning off manual control
Hi All — HA Newbie here looking for help on how to use this example automation yaml from the documentation page of the Adaptive Lighting integration.
I've googled like crazy, grilled ChatGPT mutliple ways, and I can't seem to understand how this needs to be modified to trigger and function on my end.
- I'm running HAOS on a RPi5 with HA Core version 2025.7
- My Adaptive Lighting instance is called AL FoH and its entities appear like
switch.adaptive_lighting_al_foh - The lights in this instance are Zigbee (ZHA) two-bulb pairs in Zigbee integration groups (not HA Helper Light Groups) — the lights are
dining_room_lights_z,livingroom_lights_z,bedroom_lights_z, andoffice_lights_z.
My issue is that I'm not understanding what text in this example needs to be replaced with which values. Can anyone clue me into how to tweak this or otherwise flip the manual control flag at a certain time duration after being tripped true? Many thanks in advance.
