Do You Ever Choose a Pose Based on Emotion, Not Anatomy?
Sometimes I come to the mat and realize I’m not practicing for alignment—I’m practicing for emotion. I’ll go into child’s pose because I need safety, or supported bridge because I need to soften.
It got me wondering how others choose their shapes. Do you ever lead with how you feel instead of what your body says it “should” do?
