Petal Parade and You’re Cheeky smells good together! I picked them both up today at SAS.

##Perfumerism’s dupe score

Petal Parade has been identified as a Prada Paradoxe dupe. Perfumerism gives it a 9-10/10 dupe score.

You’re Cheeky has been called a Good Girl Blush dupe. Perfumerism gives it a 6/10 dupe score (saying Good Girl Blush is sharper). And says she likes You’re Cheeky better as it’s less sharp and gives it an 8/10 rating for itself.

##Fragrance notes comparison

I’ve included screenshots of Perfumerism’s fragrance notes between the two BBW fine fragrance mists and their two dupes.

* From the notes, Prada Paradoxe and Good Girl Blush both have a bergamot top note.
* And then an orange flower type heart note (neroli for Prada Paradoxe and ylang ylang for Good Girl Blush).
* And a type of vanilla base note (Bourbon vanilla: Prada Paradoxe; vanilla: Good Girl Blush).

And then to me both Bath and Body Works fragrances have a shampoo kind of note. Petal Parade has a bit of Dove bar soap note. And You’re Cheeky has like a white tea shampoo note.

##How they combine

I think the two together intensifies the vanilla and the orange flower notes. Petal Parade becomes brighter, and You’re Cheeky gains more depth and complexity.

It’s an amber floral combination with a bit of tropical flower (a bit of jasmine) spice. Spice in a very muted ylang ylang way, like ylang ylang without the sharpness or the pepper; just like a barely there hint of resin. Plus like a touch of a juicy note like the sweeter kind of golden cherry.

I just got these two fragrances today. But they both seem to be long lasting fragrances that projects very well and lasts a long time.

If you like the new Harlem Showgirl perfume, I think the effect is somewhat similar. That’s a really pretty fragrance that is fizzy and juicy at first and becomes a warm amber on the dry down.

##Differences

I think these two fragrances intersect and are very compatible. But they are not dupes by any means. Perhaps I would say 40% similar, 60% different.

To me Petal Parade is like the older sister fragrance. Darker, bolder with a distinct amber note and a bit of spice.

You’re Cheeky is like the younger sister: more airy, juicier, fluffier with a bit of marshmallow sweetness.

But they both smell like pink fragrances (one is dark pink and one is light pink). And both have a bit of jasmine and orange flower blend, plus a shampoo quality.
