The_PH_Newsletter Vol. 2

Hey it’s peyton, surprised that I’m locked in loaded for a volume two quicker than i thought. In this newsletter, i got new stuff in the works, so lets get to it.

Progress on Writing Practices: Remember that project i said that was main priority? Welllll things kinda changed. Im tryna write and stuff but nothings really moved me. I know what to write, i just wanna write it in the most personal and real way possible than just doing it for the sake of the project and turning another one in. So what am i working on now?

What im working on now: Well im working on two projects. One is a secret rn, the other is a personal project, and the main one i wanna work on

The secret project: If you’re in the isolation records discord, then you’d probably remember me asking korean or polish. Well that was for me to decide what language should the side project artist name would be. And now the first project under that name is slowly but surely in the works. It has no cover, it has no songs, but it has a title. More info will come soon, but for now, wait, be patient, and take care of yourself.

The second “personal” project: This one was one ive been meaning to make for a long time. I even asked Luke De-Sciscio to do the instrumentals, but got left on read lmao. But to cut to the chase, its a folk ep/album. Yep. Ima bring my inner sufjan to give the most emotional, heart tugging, queer loving typa ep while still using yt beats. Originally it was going to be my Carrie and Lowell, but you’ll see other ways of doing that in different projects. Maybe i can do it if i get the money to do so. But this ep is more about love. And my experience on since 2025. Which alot has happened; iykyk. But mainly, its about this month, where i found a typa love with no bs, no lies, just straight from the heart. And everyday when i think of it, it never fails to make me smile, and hold in my hands to see if my imagination and hopes will come true. So updates on that soon.

Other music stuff:

r/boxingcirclejerk gave me samples and motivation to try and make something like LUXURY IS USED FOR CAMERAS, NOT MORALS: Yup. Surprisingly a subreddit and a website giving videos of shit like west patomic can prove my point even more. So in conclusion, LIUFC,NM can still happen lmao

Setup update: As of now, ima record using my dads macbook till i get mine (est: prime day-back to school). And i hope i could at least make reference tracks for some songs. But yeah, hopes and dreams

Special announcement: Lastly, i wanna give a moment of recognition of the late Diego Jota, who recently passed away. He was a amazing futbol player and loved his passion and skills of the sport. That being said, Rest in peace Diego and André. The futbol world will miss you dearly 🕊️

Conclusion: Thats really all that i could think of right now, get ready for some micro newsletters if i forget anything. But other than that, cheers, and have fun.
