Marathon Shoe from Mach 6

Hey there r/AskRunningShoeGeeks. I love the posts and comments from this subreddit and thought there was no better place to ask! I was looking for advice on a first pair of race shoes for my first upcoming marathon in October.

I am a heavy runner (103kg/231lbs) with wide feet. I currently run in HOKA Mach 6 (UK 9.5/US 10/EU 42-43) and am looking for recommendations for a race day shoe. I love the feel of the Mach 6 and am interested in the HOKA Mach X2, but seeing the reviews regarding heel cup causing blisters and tears I’m hesitating (plus the rumours of an X3 model coming in Autumn don’t help)

I’m not particularly fast, with an expected race time of 3:52-3:56 hours. Any help is more than appreciated
