Trying to improve my racing: Is weaving on the straights clean?

This might just be a skill issue , but
Just want to get some opinions on how to deal with this kind of driving. In this example I am a bit far and there were time where I was on the tail and we were weaving. Finally I got close enough to make a move the weaving started again. From this distance is weaving with them my best option?
