For some reason I can only play fighting games on this emulator does anyone have tips?

I can’t play anything sandbox or sandbox adjacent. Like I can’t play ultimate alliance 2 but I CAN play DBZ BT3 and I can’t play marvel nemesis on this ps2 emulator but the psp version gives me no trouble? So very confused.
