Bike commute on July 4th between Lower Manhattan & Brooklyn

I have to work a normal day tomorrow and I usually take the Brooklyn Bridge between Lower Manhattan & Carroll Gardens. Does anyone have experience traveling on the 4th around 4pm when they’ve done the fireworks on the east river? I’m guessing I’ll need to take the Williamsburg bridge but any intel would be helpful.
