Other details: I remember the game having a sequel I think. It was one of those early flash games you could play on your browser. Don't know if this helps but at one point I do remember falling underground somehow and saving one of the cars originally trying to kill me, we then became allies as we both tried to escape back to the surface. I also remember killing the big crane at the end, this also took place in a junkyard.
