FWI: The EMTALA act is repealed in its entirety due to rising hospital costs from Medicaid cuts.
Ir is expected that due to Medicaid cuts from the BBB hospitals will begin shouldering higher costs of treating newly under insured and uninsured patients - which will then be passed on to those that can pay. What if, in an attempt to "alleviate" this "unsure burden on the American taxpayer," US Senate and House Republicans move to repeal the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act? At any time frame, but especially after midterms if Republicans maintain or gain further seats in the midterms.
