When should I apply and when will I get hired based on applying

Howdy y’all! I saw on the CalFire Fire Fighter 1 Position job posting.

It says: Applications will be processed in rounds with the following cut-off dates

March 31 July 31 October 31

If I apply this month before July 31, or any of those cut off dates) ,if I were too be accepted, when would I attend the academy? And when would I be able to start applying to stations for handcrew positions? If I get accepted into the academy after applying, I’m definitely getting hired somewhere correct?
