Scam Scam Scam!

I started working at Allied in May hoping for an armed position that paid $21/hr. I kept my other job part-time just in case—and good thing, because nothing went as planned. My old job ended up treating my schedule change as a resignation, so I had to go full time with Allied. They sent me to Raleigh daily for training, even though I live over an hour away. I failed the gun test multiple times due to lack of experience, so I was moved to unarmed for 30 days. In the meantime, they offered me random shifts for as little as $13.50/hr, and I took them just to stay afloat. I was bounced around—one week at a bank, one day at Amazon (which they said might become permanent but never followed up), and finally placed at a pharmaceutical site in my hometown for only $15/hr. I barely get hours, no proper uniform, no training, and my requests for time off are ignored. When I called out sick for the first time, I was told I needed a doctor’s note or I’d be written up. The management is unprofessional—my field manager will call 20+ times in a row, and my client manager doesn’t respond at all. I’m going back to my old job next week. Allied has been a complete disaster and feels like a scam. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone
