Is the oil trap broken again?

I ran a few CDM games on standard to grind some xp for this event and every time I’d be at the gate with the oil trap where you have to jump on the little wall, I’d get killed even when safely on the wall. I noticed it was getting me and so took more precautions but it kept happening and then I even died on the other side of that little wall, on the ground behind it. It’s like the flaming oil splashes up and over/beyond that wall now where it straight up kills you and you can’t do. Idk maybe it’s just me. And I made sure I threw the Molotov on the ground and not on an enemy where it’d splash on me, which has happened in the past but goes away when the enemy dies. It was constant this time and killed me over and over
