Pharmacists

RANT

I have multiple friends who are pharmacists. They’re great people and stay in their lane. But wtf is up with people on the pharmacy telling my patients that have newly dx ADHD that my Wellbutrin has a shit ton of side effects and they shouldn’t be on it? So what’s the alternative, just shell out Adderall to a medication naïve patient? This has happened a lot recently with various meds. Is this something I should come to expect? The patient comes back, has completely skipped the treatment plan, and says the pharmacist scared them.

This example: luckily the person tried it for a couple days and saw major improvement, avoiding a controlled stimulant. But seriously, wtf? It’s Wellbutrin 100 SR daily. That’s it chill
