Transitional cell carcinoma (bladder cancer)

My dog was diagnosed with bladder cancer about 2 weeks ago. She's a 9 y/o lab mix, had bloody urine for a couple months while we went through triage (multiple urinalysis', cultures, 3 rounds of antibiotics, xrays and finally an ultrasound). It's growth is toward the front of the body, not obstructing the ureter. We don't know for sure that it's TCC and it's too big to do anything surgically at this point. We started peroxicam about 2 weeks ago and there is still heavy blood in the urine, which indicates the meds aren't working. Vet said maybe a month or two.

At this point she's still a happy dog, doesn't seem like she's in pain and isn't having any other problems expect bloody urine but I know that'll go downhill.

Any advice for end of life care? Not really sure what to expect going forward. This is my husband and i's first experience with an end of life plan for an animal.
