Hi just trying to learn about poly relationships 26m 26f probably won't happen for another 6 mos to a YR minimum
Fair warning I suck at expressing my self and getting to the point this will feel all over the place I am sorry if any of this is confusing if you need clarification on certain points please let me know.
So she asked early in our relationship how I felt about poly couples. I for one have never like the idea because I have felt it's cheating or nothing about that feels right or even ever lasted out of the few ive seen IRL. she never asked again and respected me as her partner but now as we have grown and after i had an accident last year (we're getting it fixed now) which hurt my hip and progressively got worse where having sex is hard on some days where no matter how high my sex drive is.
(which is extremely to the point I had to cum 4-7 times daily) now I can't stay hard for long but anyways
I brought it up on my own the thought of her bringing in another women (only way we can both we agree since shes bi and I prefer women even tho I'm bi) but I brought it up due to my performance issues and since I know it was an interest at an early point of our dating life before our marriage.
Anyways what I am trying to get at is how does one start a relationship like that? My idea that I came up with and she agreed is we would wait I told her I want to focus on us we plan on moving soon and I want us to feel comfortable and relaxed and work through more things going on in our marriage feeling more settled before pushing it as I've seen many couples that were poly fail due to no structure. Is there any other advice anyone would give for something like this? (would like advice from people with experience but would love to hear about your thoughts and if you're in the same boat) I will try to answer everyone and look over any comments that come in
TLDR: how to start a poly relationship with your wife where we would be adding another women to our family while keeping the relationship we are currently in healthy
