How can i become a airforce pilot without giving up my german citizenship?

I am a 23M holding a bachelor's degree in Biology and would like to become an Air Force pilot. I currently hold German and US citizenship. I speak both languages with native/bilingual proficiency. I have previously read that to become an officer, a requirement to become a pilot, you need to renounce any foreign citizenship due to security clearance. I would under no circumstances give up my EU citizenship, and was wondering if there is a way around this. Maybe it works the other way around if I were to become a pilot through the Bundeswehr. If anyone has experience or tips, please let me know.
