Oklahoma Civil Case

Oklahoma

I need some information on what would be involved in establishing a civil case against the establishment of law enforcement in Oklahoma. We have an individual who has been targeted for the past 3 to 4 years, repeatedly arrested for minor in fractions, and has even had like ridiculously obscure laws pulled out to charge him with

His attorney said the district attorney, let it slip that they were charging him and making his bonds higher than they should be so that the county got what it was entitled to because he always pays the cash bond rather than bail.

This all started after a romantic entanglement with a lady who works as a dispatcher in the next county over. The local guys seem to think that she's one of their own and have taken offense and use every opportunity to try to get this person even when it's out of line and outright illegal.

In 2022 they ran him off the road while he was on his motorcycle with no prior attempt to pull him over or get him to stop. They tried to hit him with a squad car. He was terrified and basically ran for his life every time he tried to stop They attempted to run over him or beat him with Billie clubs. When he finally crashed, they jumped out of their vehicles and attacked him, hitting him with clubs and stomping him, causing severe permanent injuries and that's from his orthopedic surgeon.

We are outside the timeframe to sue for that incident. However, he has been having issues with home invasion and has been targeted by a local gang of somebody's who are breaking into his house and hacking his Internet and causing general mayhem with his business. They bugged his house and ran camera systems underneath.

A couple of weeks ago we actually heard someone crawling around under the house and called the police. He was away and I was home alone so he made every attempt to get there as quickly as he can to protect me from whatever was happening because we had no idea what was going to happen. Law-enforcement ticketed him for reckless driving for speeding to get to the house quickly, even though he waved them on and attempted to get them to follow him and was on the phone with dispatch at the time. That ticket was pulled by supervisors.

He had court on another charge and he discovered the day before court that the sheriffs department had filed charges on him for willful destruction of road, which is a very weird charge that according to our research indicates he had to maliciously damage the roadway, and that was not the fact. He had gotten stuck And did do some road damage while getting himself unstuck. The attorney said that charge will not stick however it still continues to cause problems and the purpose for it appears to be preventing him from making his court appearance which would cost him the entirety of the bond money he has posted.

So this is like about the 10th incident over the last 3 to 4 years and probably the most blatant. It seems to revolve around a small handful of officers in a couple of different jurisdictions and we are just wondering what evidence we need and what documentation we should pull together to proceed with a civil case against these individuals and the law-enforcement offices they work for.

The amount of bond money that we are discussing is probably around the $85,000 mark. Because he was charged a $75,000 bond for an assault and battery charge and $5000 for a petition to revoke and this most recent charge was a $10,000 bond for injuring a public road so I guess we're actually at $90,000.

In addition, there was a young gentleman who worked for us who was put in jail on a domestic assault charge. While he is incarcerated, one of these officers who serves as a pool as a fire chief, I guess for one of that for the volunteer fire department in in the town we live in, burned his RV, which was his only home while it was on our property and he is charging us for putting out the fire, although they set the fire. Due to the damages incurred on the property they are condemning the property and charging us for the volunteer fire department coming out and the costs of condemning the property that they destroyed, and they have filed liens on him personally and on the property.

We just need some direction on where to go. I know there has to be a case in this there has to be. We are in a situation where we actually need protection from the police instead of by the police.
