In an unexpected turn of events, I was sent an invite to become a moderator of walkwithme\_tim! I was immediately suspicious because, like many of you, I suspect that this may have all been a ploy by the former mod to nuke this subreddit. But I figured, I had nothing to do with the hacking of his accounts and so I have nothing to hide. I also thought it was the right thing to do to accept the invite so that I could remove the personal info that had been posted (but in the end that was irrelevant, I didn't realise it was already removed.)

I'm not too sure either way, whether it's a big ruse or if the person who hacked the account just wanted to toss the subreddit over to me before noping out. But I've decided to just close the subreddit with a message redirecting people here because there isn't really a need for two.

What I will be doing, however, is scouring through the mod logs and messages I now have access to, to try to gain some more insight into what's been happening over the past few months. **I'll post interesting stuff as I find it in this thread**, trying to group things together so it's a little easier to follow. For now though, for full transparency, I'm posting the mod logs from the past day or two when this whole debacle started. I'm leaving out the house keeping stuff I've done since accepting the invite. The \[deleted\] user is the sock account the hacker made a moderator, that is now suspended.

**If anybody has any questions, please shout and I'll do my best to answer!**
