Commander removal combo
I’m in the process of building a [[The Jolly Balloon Man]] deck, and stumble on a targeted removal combo for my opponents commanders that I wanted to make sure was legal. With [[The Jolly Balloon Man]] on the battlefield, I play [[Zealous Conscripts]] or something similar to gain control of my opponents commander. I then activate Balloon Man’s ability to create a copy of it, triggering the legend rule, at which point, I choose to keep the balloon copy and sacrifice the original. At end of turn, the balloon pops, leaving me nothing to return to my opponent. Is there anything rule wise that would stop this from working?
Moreover, would this work if I use [[Firbolg Flutist]] and use the legendary rule through the myriad ability?
