Trump hats etc.

I love this country, however, yesterday was one of the toughest, darkest Independence Days I’ve experienced.

Got me thinking today:

I was on the coast yesterday to watch military planes fly over, as part of the holiday celebration. It was so anti-climatic that it reminded me of the tanks during Trump‘s birthday celebration parade.

Why is it OK, normal, for people to walk around in Trump hats and regalia? Don’t misunderstand me, I understand wearing such gear when elections are being decided. When did it become OK to wear political gear outside of election time? I loved when Obama was president, but what would’ve happened if half the country walked around in Obama gear and regalia? We/ They would have been looked at as being crazy!
