What weapons can truly captivate Bloodborne's "aggression"?

I've always heard about Bloodborne's fast paced combat and aggression from both player and enemy sides, but playing with Ludwig's Blade rn and I don't really feel that way.

What weapons would make my gameplay more fast paced? Because I still feel like playing Dark Souls, except I have faster dashes.
