MCA student | 9-month Nokia SDE Internship: Was this the right choice? Worried about conversion & seeking advice?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently pursuing my MCA and have recently started a 9-month SDE internship at Nokia. I wanted to get some honest advice from the community regarding my situation:

1. Was it a good decision to take up this internship as an MCA student, considering my long-term career prospects?

2. I'm a bit anxious about the conversion rate to full-time roles at Nokia. For those who have interned here (or similar companies), how likely is it to get a PPO or FTE offer?

3. In case I don't get converted, what would be the best approach to apply for full-time SDE positions elsewhere? Should I start applying before the internship ends, or wait until the last few months?

4. Any tips on how to improve my chances of landing a full-time offer, either at Nokia or other companies?

Would appreciate any advice from people who have been in a similar situation, especially MCA grads or those who transitioned from internships to full-time roles.
